The Big Game

Tonight was the big indoor soccer game between team 3 (black team) and team 5 (grey team). The reason it was a big game is two fold. First because my roommate Provo and friend Naoki are both on team 3. Also because the last time these two teams met, team 5 won because team 3 not only had no sub players but was also short a player. Playing against the odds team 3 played bravely and was able to lose by only two goals. In this highly anticitpated rematch they were determined to avenge that defeat. In the end Provo fielded a corner kick to Naoki who shot the winning goal. It was a fierce battle as you can see clearly from the following action shots.

Also following the lead of my good friend Luke from Giajin for Life fame, here at The Life Emery, we are pursuing the secrets of America's favorite Easter time treat: PEEPS. Phase one was to locate the Peep in his natural habitat.
While on a visit to our local branch of america's largest retailer, Walmart, I discovered the Peep. As you can see from the image above, one box of Peeps retails for 96 cents plus tax. Stay tuned for sinister phase 2...

the seriousness of your face and the innocent look of the peeps goes together really well.
