This past week went by very quickly. This week I went on my last trip of the summer up to Karuizawa. We went there for just a couple of days to finish some of the painting and on the last day there the Kato's took me to some of the famous sites in Karuizawa. The first place they took us was to Ishi no Kyoukai. That can be said "Church of Stone" or just "Stone Church". It's a very beautiful place and it built to commemorate a very famous Japanese writer and Evangelist, Kanzo Uchimura.

After that we went to a place called Shiraito no Taki, which is roughly translated "White Thread Falls".

Also earlier in the week Emi and I went to Harajuku for Yosakoi Festival. It was interesting and it was a good excuse to go to Harajuku which I have seen many times out of the window in the subway as I rode to other places in the city, but I had never stopped there. I guess its a "young people's" town and, many tourists shop there. So again, the festival was pretty much just a good excuse to explore Harajuku, which we did.

And finally, last Sunday was Fuji's last day with the Little Lamb Club. After I leave it will be left to Sakiko, Yocheru, and Emi. Fuji is off to the B.I. in New York. I will see her next week when I fly back to the States and maybe in the winter if she decides to go out for The Sights and Sounds of Christmas play that I was in when I was a student because they do the play in Florida which is where I plan to be.
頑張って フジ!!!
