Summer: a time for camps.

Yesterday the campers who are going to the three weeks of New York Camp left Japan. A week ago I helped prepare the campers with some useful English phrases that they would likely encounter on their trip.

"Can I see your passport and entry card please?"

There are 21 campers going to N.Y. Camp this summer. 20 will go to Word of Life Island and one intrepid 5th grader is going to the Word of Life Ranch.

Also this week I went back up to SYME to prepare for the start of the Japan summer camps. The first day of camp is tomorrow. I will be driving back up with some of the campers tomorrow night. While I was there I enjoyed my first water melon smash off.
