Making up for my lack of Posts with one Super Post!

It's been quite a while since my last update, and since then I've settled back into life under the Florida sun. I've come to realize that I enjoy the simple pleasure of grilling out doors knowing that it's snowing where I grew up.

This is a little garden that Emi and I got for Jason in Tokyo. It's supposed to be some Japanese red peppers. Jason loves spicy food and has always wanted to grow his own peppers, so this is a practice garden before he moves into his own place...

A couple weeks ago it was Halloween here (AKA, Octoberfuss) and we had a pumpkin carving contest with some people from church at Tommy and Sarah's house. There were some very daring designs this year.

Actually there are some very gifted artists at Watermark and some of the pumpkins were awesome!

This is the pumpkin that Jay and I made. It's the Headless Horseman. Pretty cool huh? we got an honorable mention....

Speaking of Watermark, here are a few pictures of the place where we meet every Sunday. Watermark has it's Sunday services at The Springs Theater in Tampa.

This is what the inside looks like when I arrive every Sunday to help set up in the morning... it's mostly empty.
After we set up chairs and the stage for the band it looks a lot nicer. This is a picture i sneaked a couple weeks ago from my seat in the back.

The Springs isn't really a theater at all any more. Actually a lot of bands and orchestras record there. This is a picture I took from the Springs Theater website of a local orchestra playing right where we have our morning service.

all kinds of crazy stuff used to happen at the Springs...

At first, when i saw the artistic pumpkin carving from a distance, i thought "someone didn't know how to carve a pumpkin!" since it looked like someone tried to peel the pumpkin skin but didn't go anywhere so just finished it as it is for some laughs... but wow he got a cool carving skill!!

Also, I'm glad that Togarashi pepper is growing well.

And I see that you are still wearing the bracelet from the summer.
