I'm in Karuizawa for a week and the weather has been fantastic, and the vistas very breath taking. I didn't filter these photos in any way. The sky really was these brilliant colors of pink, yellow and orange. Just before the sun disappeared the whole sky seemed to be on fire.
I'm also trying to post a video on my youtube channel but my internet connection here is a bit slow and I'm having troubles. I'll give it one more try...

Wow Dave. I didn't see sunsets like that during the entire summer. Beautiful. Hope all is well in the land of the rising sun.
Well Stephen, all I can say is that I got lucky. I've never seen a sunset quite like that one before.
