New Phone

I got a new phone today with Sprint PCS as part of a package with the Broadband connect card that I already have. It's the "Touch Diamond" by HTC. It comes fully equipped with a 3.2 megapixle camera with video. The biggest upgrade from my previous phone is that this one comes with full Internet functionality and unlimited data transfer. The standard OS is based on Windows Mobile 6.1 which comes with lots of goodies including a full version of Widows Live Messenger. The whole reason for this switch was to make it easier to communicate with Emi when I am travelling, and this package also has unlimited voice time, which means there are no day time minutes to worry about and keep track of. That's nice because the time difference between here and Japan does not always make it convenient to call after 7pm eastern time.

I wasn't able to keep my old number with this phone, so if you need to reach me or just want to have my new number, just shoot me an email. I'll be sure to get back to you since I can check my email from my phone now, like the rest of civilized society.

Yes, it's a nice phone, but does it have an app that farts on command?

No, just real time GPS with turn by turn voice directions... but you stick with your fart app.

So is Sprint better than Verizon?

and, why is your sub-title say, foretold by nostradaums? you know, it was so huge when I was growing up. many people believed his prophecy and there were lots of shows about that. about the end of the world...

Never mind that. The point is, the GPS on my phone is able to find this hotel which is only 3 months old, and the Garmin that came with my rental car could not.
