It has nearly been a week since I arrived in Japan. This past Sunday I gave my testimony in both Sunday morning services. It went well, and Kato Sensei translated for the congregation. After the Second service all the young people move the chairs in the sanctuary to the side and set up tables for lunch. After we eat and clean up we have Sunday school. I sat in the college and career class. This week was a planning meeting for an outreach night they are having in a few weeks. It's going to be a good chance to invite some unsaved friends out for some fun and, hopfully get them involved with the church. Looks like we are going out to eat and then bowling. I'll take some pictures when we go!
Yesterday and this morning I worked with Kato Sensei translating some letters to his supporters. Also, yesterday afternoon I did my first English conversation class with Mana, who went to SYME Korea last semester. It went well, and we should be meeting twice a week from now on. So I actually was working, but as no one else was around to photograph it there is no actual evidence for this.
I have finished translating for Kato Sensei, at least for today. Today it looks like there is some house work that needs doing so it looks like it's time for me to earn my keep.
