So here are the Cliff notes:
First was Chad's art show at The Bunker in Ybor. The Bunker is a really cool cafe and a great place for an art show.
I like this narwhal.
Chad is the guy with the beard wearing the fedora in the next picture. He's a really cool guy, but he and his wife are moving back to Texas in a few weeks. So sad... They are both really active at Watermark and we're all really going to miss them. This show was mostly sketches. He did a lot more paintings at his last one.
Some days after the art show I was getting tired of the long hair and beard. It was getting hot. I do live in Florida... That said; it was time for my yearly hair cut.
YIKES!
Last Sunday was Dave Whitehead's birthday so we went out to lunch at a place called La Casa Dolce. Its a pretty fru fru little cafe type place, but the sandwiches they made us were good, with lots of cured meat, and the deserts really, really good and might just make me want to go back despit the prices.
Happy Birthday Fricker.
And finally, a couple nights ago we all went over to Jason Bylsma's house for dinner. It was the first chance we've all had to spend time with Dallas, who fell off his bike a couple weeks ago and had to have brain surgery.
Poor guy, they shaved his head. Or maybe he was just trying to copy me...
