YOKOHAMA

China Town in Yokohama

Emi and I used our day off together to escape the heat in Tokyo and made the short trip to Yokohama. Since Yokohama is a port and right on the sea, we decided to take the ferry rather than the train when we got there. In this picture with Emi on the ferry you can see the Yokohama skyline and on the extreme left you can see just half of the Landmark Tower.

Landmark Tower up close.
We walked around and saw a lot of shops and ate lunch in China Town. Just before we had dinner we were killing some time at an arcade and Emi won this Rela Kuma (kuma means bear and rela is short for relax, so its a relaxing bear) at a UFO catcher!

Dinner was "Super Meatball Spaghetti!"
This was the view from our table at dinner. The huge Farris wheel is the biggest I've ever scene and it is part of the skyline in Yokohama and very recognizable

Also on the way home I bought the new Matisyahu CD and DVD set. I love it! I'll try to post a some from the CD later.
